Gina K Inspiration Blog Hop Day 4

Hi there! It's the fourth and final day of Gina K blog hops for our May release and tonight we are featuring Debbie Corbari's Darling Divas and the new Free With Free set, A Little Something. Debbie has come up with three more fabulous Divas this month. I used images from the Green Thumb Diva to make my card. (step by step photos below)

And this is my A Little Something card. This stamp set is free with the purchase of three full stamp sets.  I paper pieced the vase and used Copic markers to color and shade. I love the sweet images in this set!

Be sure to visit all the designer blogs for more inspiration.

To make my card, I started by cutting and embossing white cardstock using Spellbinders™ A2 Matting Basics A. Then I stamped the flower pot with Gina K Black Onyx and the watering can with Gina K Bubblegum Pink. The water droplets were stamped with Gina K Turquoise Sea.

I used my Y17 Copic to color in the centers of the flowers.

For the leaves on the flowers I used YG25 and for the petals, I think I used RV17. Sorry I must have forgotten to click the photo for that step.

For the flower pot I used E97.

Then some deeper shading on the pot with E15.

Used a sticky note to mask the top section at the bottom of the flower pot, then sponged Gina K Fresh Asparagus ink.

Then used my E35 Copic to shade a bit just below the pot.

I removed the mask and sponged Gina K Powder Blue around the edges of the die template.

I layered with Pure Luxury Grass Green, cut using Spellbinders A2 Locking Loops. I used a white card base (4 ¼ by 5 ½ inches) and added some Color Companion buttons to embellish.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a wonderful day!
